Join us this fall in Salt Lake City for a weekend of fellowship, worship, and community as we gather for Inland West Mission Center Conference 2025. Grounded in the guiding theme Journey in Hope, inspired by Doctrine and Covenants 161:1a and Romans 15:13, this year’s conference is a celebration of how far we've come and a bold step toward the future we're co-creating together.
Hope has carried us through World Conference, Reunion, and SPEC this year. Now, as we look ahead, we are invited to embody that hope through courageous action, renewed connection, and faithful discernment. This conference is more than business, it's a chance to reflect, reconnect, and recommit to the mission of Jesus Christ.
Whether you're a longtime member or new to our mission center family, this is your opportunity to listen, learn, and shape our shared future. Come be part of the story, the journey begins here.
We are especially excited to welcome Blake Smith, our new Field Support Minister, who will lead us in a powerful plenary session on Anti-Racism in a Christian Context.
Blake Smith lives in the Chicagoland area, and serves as Field Support Minister for the mission centers in the western half of the USA. Blake also serves as the Interim Mission Center President of the Arizona Mission Center and Project Manager/Host for Project Zion Podcast. Blake has worked for the church for 32 years, serving in a variety of roles such as youth minister, youth ministry training specialist, campus minister, church planter, and mission center president/financial officer. He currently holds the office of High Priest. Blake enjoys travel, woodworking, reading, spending time with his family and friends, and being outdoors…especially near water.

A delegate at the Mission Center Conference plays a crucial role in representing their congregation during the legislative session on Saturday afternoon. Delegates are responsible for voting on important matters like the mission center budget and the appointments of mission center staff. Each congregation is allocated a certain number of delegates based on its size, and only confirmed members can serve in this capacity. While anyone can attend the conference, only delegates can vote.
Inland West Mission Center congregations should hold a business meeting to elect their Mission Center delegates. Please contact your pastor for any questions.
