International Youth Forum (IYF)/

Spectacular (SPEC) 2018

July 17 to July 28, 2018


2018 Theme:  "St( )ry"


Where: Independence, MO, and Lamoni, IA (Graceland University)


Who:  Youth who are currently in grades 9-12


Cost:  $705.00  

SPEC is moving to online registration this year.  That registration form is available at https://spec-cofchrist.org/register/.  


Even though your registration will be online through IYF/SPEC, you will still pay through the delegation by mailing payment as described.


The cost includes airfare.  Since we will be attending IYF and SPEC, the trip is more expensive this year. We have worked hard to reduce costs where possible.  We can offer this cost, thanks to the support of the YES Fund. Each camper will need to fill out a YES fund application (in addition to the IYF/SPEC online registration form) to illustrate how they will contribute within their congregation or community to the covering of the airfare cost. The total cost will include: Camp registration and a camp shirt, meals, lodging, delegation shirts, and all transportation (airline luggage fees for 1 bag are included). The campers will need to bring money for 3-4 fast food meals as well as bring their own souvenir spending money.

The Inland-West Mission Center will join with the GPNW Mission Center to be one of the largest delegations with approximately 65 campers and 20 staff.
